Skippy thinks its his garden but Ive been gardening here for 20 years. In summer they get tomatoes from my community garden plot and other extra or damaged veggies. Ive heard most urban areas actually allow chickens both in the US and other places.I looked into it for my community garden but its not allowed there.

Hi Nate:
For those of us interested...what types of things can and can't be composted. I know some people have trouble with lots of citrus or meats. Any other tips?

An update on Landscaping for Charity in the Bay Area....

Landsystems Landscapes is happy to announce that we'll be supporting several school silent actions in Silicon Valley and the Peninsula by donating landscaping items (such as planted trees) and landscaping consultation services.

Recipients include Woodside Priory Schools in Portola Valley, Woodside Elementary of Redwood City and St. Mary's School in Los Gatos. We'll continue to update our community activities here on the Peninsula and Silicon Valley. Send us your causes or Spring/Summer events!
Mahalo,
Pete "the green marketing guy"
